Terry Shuler's early 2000 publication gives an illustrated insight to the pre-production Volkswagen. Pictures are 'full page' and, as would be expected of the period, in black and white. There are close up detail shots of prototype engines, cars and drawings, as well as early press shots, special models, military vehicles and factory shots. An excellent book for those interested in the subject, but don’t want to be bogged down with reams of technical jargon.
